Wari has always been an inspiration for devotees and creative people alike. Capturing the various magical moments of Wari is a passion of a large number of professional & hobbyist photographers. To encourage their painstaking effort, Sakal Social Foundation in association with Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography & Cinematography jointly organized a photography competition & exhibition. Showcasing the myriad facets of Wari, it was aptly titled as 'Indrayani te Chandrabhaga'. This exhibition held at Balgandharv Rangmandir was inaugurated by Swapnali Kadam, managing director of ABIL corporation. Malhar Arankalle, editor Sakal, Uddhav Bhadsalkar of SSF and Rajan Chougule of school of photography were also present on this occasion. Out of the 1095 snaps that had come for the competition from all across the state, Omkar Damale's photograph won the first award.
